St Luke’s is a Catholic community dedicated to learning. Here you will find an optimistic, vibrant and inclusive school. We value the gifts and contributions of students, staff and parents. All people here are treated with respect. Each member of the St Luke’s school community has an important part in bringing our vision to reality. We live by values drawn from the writings of St Luke and through them we are an expression in the world of God’s redeeming love. In our time here we remain attentive to the sacredness of the present moment.
Day Dawn Advocacy
Thank you to all the families who donated a toy to the Day Dawn Advocacy centre as part of our school’s commitment to Lifelink this year. The toys were gratefully received by Susan Connor, representing Day-Dawn at Friday’s assembly, with the toys collected and taken away for distribution to the many needy families.
As you are all aware by now, Mr Kelly will not be taking up the principal role at St Luke’s until January, 2018. The executive director of Catholic Education WA, Dr Tim McDonald, has appointed Mr Baker acting principal for the remainder of the year. Our congratulations is extended to Jason who I am very confident will do a great job leading the school over the next six months.
Are scheduled for Week 10, Tuesday 27th June between 3:00-7pm. These interview slots are of 10mins in duration and should you require longer or are unavailable on the scheduled date, please arrange an alternative time with the classroom teacher.
