St Luke’s is a Catholic community dedicated to learning. Here you will find an optimistic, vibrant and inclusive school. We value the gifts and contributions of students, staff and parents. All people here are treated with respect. Each member of the St Luke’s school community has an important part in bringing our vision to reality. We live by values drawn from the writings of St Luke and through them we are an expression in the world of God’s redeeming love. In our time here we remain attentive to the sacredness of the present moment.
We welcome all families and children back to St Luke's for Term 3. It was great to get around to all the classrooms yesterday and today and see the happy, smiling faces of the children who are excited to start another school term.
Kindy Enrolments 2019 - Beginning August
It has recently come to my attention that neighbouring Catholic primary schools are holding Kindy Interviews for 2019 in mid-August. To ensure parents are given the chance to accept positions at any of our local catholic schools, we will also begin interviewing for Kindy positions beginning on the 14th August.
City of Joondalup
Over the holidays I was alerted to some recent infringements handed out by the City of Joondalup over parents who were stationary whilst waiting for the drive through carpark down by the church late last term.
SMS Notifications for Absentees
During our recent audit by Catholic Education Western Australia, we identified an area of resolving of student absences that could be improved. As a result, beginning Monday 24th July, when children are marked as absent in the morning, an SMS notification will be sent to those parents to advise them that their child has been marked absent.
